Kids Fishing Derby Day

Prizes were awarded for the Biggest Fish, the Most Fish, and the best decorated boat, but dozens of other prizes were handed out to all participants.

Our monthly meetings are open to interested members of the public. Many of our club activities are too!  You are welcome to attend our annual archery contest, public gun sight ins, our kids ice fishing experience and more. Many of our monthly meetings have guest speakers dealing with topics as far ranging as wilderness survival, outdoor photography, and important local conservation issues.

The Sudbury Game and Fish Protective Association is actively involved in the conservation, health, and welfare of the wildlife and resources in and around the Sudbury Area.

We work aggressively to maintain and improve the environment, fish, and wildlife in our community through such projects as stocking fish, annual tree planting, and helping to re-introduce Elk into Ontario.

"I give my pledge as a Canadian to save and faithfully defend from waste, the natural resources of my country, it's soils and minerals, it's air, waters, forests and wildlife."
